Jim Tonge is a Conversational AI Strategist at VUI.agency, Europe’s leading Conversational UX company. From strategy to implementation, they support major international clients in building their own voice presence.
Before joining VUI, Jim spent three years on the BBC’s Voice & Conversational AI team, working on ‘Beeb’—the broadcaster’s custom voice assistant—and other category-leading voice apps. Previously, he worked as a BAFTA-nominated producer, making apps and videogames for brands like Adventure Time, Doctor Who, and CBeebies.
Whilst fluent now, Jim grew up with a profound stutter—conversation, expression, and understanding are subjects very close to his heart.
